How long does each certification take to complete?
Foundation takes approximately 8 hours, Intermediate 20 hours, Advanced 40 hours, and Master 80+ hours. All programs are self-paced, so you can complete them on your own schedule over weeks or months.
Are certifications valid for professional development credit?
Yes! MRX certifications are accredited for PD hours in most US states. We provide official certificates documenting your completion hours that can be submitted to your district for credit.
What happens if I don't pass an assessment?
You can retake any assessment up to 3 times at no additional cost. We also provide study guides and targeted resources to help you succeed on your next attempt.
Do certifications expire?
Foundation and Intermediate certifications are valid for 3 years, Advanced for 4 years, and Master certification is lifetime. Renewal courses are available to maintain your credentials.
Is there a cost for certification programs?
Foundation certification is free for all educators. Intermediate is $149, Advanced is $299, and Master is $499. Schools can purchase bulk licenses, and scholarships are available for Title I schools.
