Must be affiliated with a registered school, community organization, library, or 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
At least one adult (18+) must serve as the registered team coach or mentor.
Team must be registered (or planning to register) for an official XRC competition event.
Demonstrate genuine financial need or serve Title I schools / underserved communities.
New for 2026: Teams from rural areas (population under 25,000) automatically qualify for priority consideration on all grant applications.

Most applications are reviewed within 2-3 weeks. Championship grants may take longer during peak season.
Teams may receive one grant per season. However, Championship grants are awarded in addition to other grants.
Approved teams receive grant credits applied directly to MRX purchases or event registrations. Some grants include direct funding.
Yes! Our grants are available to teams worldwide, though some partner grants may have regional restrictions.
Businesses and individuals can sponsor teams directly or contribute to our grant fund.
