Create your team profile on the MRX portal. Choose your competition division and select your home region.

Requirements

Team Requirements

Everything you need to know before starting your robotics journey

Team Size

Teams must have 2-10 student members. Each team needs at least one adult mentor (coach) who is 18 years or older.

Age Requirements

XRC Junior: Ages 8-11
XRC Standard: Ages 11-14
XRC Pro: Ages 14-18

Equipment

Teams must use official MRX competition kits (MRX MID, PRO, or MAX platforms). Custom modifications allowed within rules.

Registration Fees

Junior: $150/season
Standard: $200/season
Pro: $250/season

Time Commitment

Plan for 4-8 hours per week during competition season. Teams typically meet 2-3 times weekly for build sessions.

Meeting Space

You'll need a dedicated workspace (classroom, garage, community room) with tables, power, and room for a practice field.
